1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

Depending on the features available in each App, we and our third-party service providers collect limited technical and usage data to run the Apps, process purchases, display advertisements, and analyze app stability.

A. In-App Purchases (Apple StoreKit)

What is processed: Transaction receipts, purchase history, and product identifiers.

How it is used: To unlock digital content and process payments. Payment transactions are processed directly by Apple via your Apple ID. We do not store or process payment card details on our own servers.

B. Game Center Services (Leaderboards & Achievements)

What is processed: Apple Game Center Player ID, display name, gameplay achievements, and leaderboard scores.

How it is used: To display scores, rank players on public or friend leaderboards, and grant achievements within Apple Game Center. This data is managed directly via Apple's Game Center services.

C. Analytics & Crash Reporting (Google Firebase)

Services used: Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.

What is processed: App usage metrics, device information (such as model and iOS version), crash logs, installation IDs, and performance diagnostics.

How it is used: To analyze app performance, diagnose bugs, prevent technical crashes, and improve overall user experience.

D. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Services used: Google AdMob.

What is processed: Mobile Advertising Identifier (IDFA, if permitted by you), IP address, coarse location data, device metrics, and ad interaction data.

How it is used: To serve advertisements within the Apps. If you grant permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, ads may be personalized. If you decline, non-personalized contextual ads will be displayed.

 

2. App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & Ad Preferences

In compliance with Apple iOS guidelines, we request your explicit permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before tracking your activity across other apps or websites for targeted advertising:

• If you allow: Google AdMob may serve personalized ads tailored to your interests.
• If you decline: You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.

You can update or revoke your tracking preferences at any time in your iOS Device Settings under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

 

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share necessary data with trusted third-party providers strictly to operate, analyze, and monetize our Apps:

• Apple Inc. (In-App Purchases & Game Center) – Apple Privacy Policy
• Google LLC (Firebase & AdMob) – Google Privacy Policy

 

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Analytics and Crash Data: Retained automatically by Firebase according to Google’s standard retention schedules.

Game Center & Purchase Data: Managed directly under your Apple ID account according to Apple's terms.

Data Deletion Requests: We do not maintain custom user accounts or store personal profiles on external servers. If you have questions regarding data privacy or wish to request the deletion of any telemetry data, please contact us at contact@shuttergames.com.

 

5. Children’s Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 depending on jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take steps to remove that information immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be published on this page with an updated "Effective Date". We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.
